We're planning to be at Howden on Sunday 11th :yup: .....

It was good to meet up with Mike from Beverley last night at Squires. It was a very pleasant evening with a great selection of machinery including our 2 Buells :P, flying the flag for UKBEG.

Fingers crossed we can make the 11th. I would much rather have been at Squires than at work last night :?

A formal reminder that it's the first 'meet-n-ride' from Howden on Sunday and the weather's looking very good :P ......

The Coastways Cafe web site and my original links have gone a bit wonky but I've phoned them this morning to check that they're still in business and they are :yup:....

Meeting point location details: here

With the exception of April, second Sunday of the month, 'meet-n-rides' will depart from Coastways Cafe, Howden.

Meet between 10.00 and 10.30am.

Destinations will vary - Yorkshire's a big county so there's plenty to choose from.

Each ride will include a lunch stop.

All makes of motorcycle welcome, you don't have to arrive on a Buell.

Note: in the event of bad weather we will post a few days beforehand if they're going to be cancelled.

Coastways Cafe
Sunday 11th March
Sunday 1st April
Sunday 13th May
Sunday 10th June
Sunday 8th July
Sunday 12th August
Sunday 9th September
Sunday 14th October

We'd like to thank everyone who attended today's meet-n-ride. It was just about perfect, such beautiful weather and pleasantly warm for the 11th March.

We visited Flamborough Head and had lunch sat in the sun with the lighthouse providing an impressive backdrop. The ride* from Howden took us through the Yorkshire Wolds using quiet back roads.

There was a good assortment of machinery present in our group, one Ducati, one Harley, two Guzzis and one Suzuki. The Buell flag was kept flying by Robin and Janice who used their XB12XT.

We have some pictures to post from today but we're having some technical problems uploading pictures to Photobucket. I'll have to post a selection from my office PC.

* Apologies for the unscheduled loo stop along the way :oooops: - errrr, when you've got to go, you've got to go...
