Met up with Deepsix this evening at Wickham Square and went for a gentle pootle to Alton Cafe in Alton Station carpark..... quite a diverse mix of bikes over there.

Really must arrange a meet up in Sussex very soon.... :yup:

We should support the place anyway as is a good place ideally located for biking roads :old:

Their tea and coffee are SO bad you want to die, so when they can make a decent cuppa, I will support them.

A change of mind - I reckon on going to Wickham Square this evening as it's May Day and there will be hundreds of Morris dancers to point fingers at and say things like "which one's Morris" and "don't you find you slide off of the bonnet" etc etc :ner:

Anyone up for that??

Banjo

Bugger.....wish I had seen this post earlier, I would have joined you Banjo. Took the Blast out for a ride this evening. Rode out through Lavant to Midhurst and then back via the A272 to Petersfield onto the A32 at West Meon Hut past Loomies (which was heaving...!!) and back home.

A few minor adjustments need to be made on the Blast before my ride up to Manchester on Saturday. Never noticed before, but switchgear on left in slightly twisted so keep missing the switch to turn off indicator....minor problem, but annoying.. Also mirror not quite in correct position, so have to move whole body to see in mirror.. Hey ho.... lOl

How much notice do you need to do your hair and put on your slap, Jill? He posted that at 3pm... lOl

Kev & I gave the M2s a run out to Wickham (yes it really was full of Morris Prancers) but saw no Buells so carried on through and did a big sweep around the usual suspects (Loomies wasn't just heaving, it was over-flowing on to the road to the point of dangerous, so no need to worry about them needing our support, Tony ;), trouble is if they have that much 'support', the police will shut them down for causing obstruction... probably just after FSA do similar because of their awful brews  ) before ending up at Mick's on Portsdown Hill. Nice.

Unfortunately Rik I am not able to access the forum whilst at work..... I have occasionally managed to sneakily take a look on my phone, but being clamped down on personal phone use as well at work.... :sad1: :sad1:

I just got home from work, did a tip run in the car, then swiftly put on bike gear and went out for a ride. Only got onto pc after this and so missed message.... not sure why I am explaining my movements to you though..... :? lOl

No, nor am I lOl
Suggest it may be time to pack in the job if it's getting in the way of social activities though. ;)

How's about Arundel (or something else out East to suit the Sussex boyz) next Wednesday then?
