Mev, that was Banjo and Carol. I saw his bike erupt in a plume of white smoke then coast onto the hard shoulder. Took the exit off at Eastleigh and rode back to them. His rear tyre was coated in oil He told me he was going to get a mate to pick him up in their van....looks like he couldn't get hold of them. I rode on to Hedge End then headed back towards Ashurst. They were gone when I was on my way home...hopefully able to fix before the Lauwe trip...??
