It would be really good to have someone around to take care of stuff so I could have one day off a week.....trouble is I dont, so Sunday is the only time I get to do housework, dog walking, etc. etc. etc.

What A BLAST
I decided this morning to go to the NMM for a meet up, coffee, and a chin wag. I'm so glad I did, the Vintage MC Club were next to us outside in the sun and are a great bunch. The weather for this week is forecast to be shite so I went for a run in the sun. 'appy daze and top work Mrs Brown :worthy:

Another perfect Sunday, you can never enough perfect Sunday’s :sun: ….

Quality, not quantity, best sums up today’s UKBEG meet. We managed one Blast and that was thanks to Jill and Ade :worthy:.. In total there were four Buells, one Guzzi, one Yamaha and one KTM. Thanks to everyone who attended.

When we arrived at the NMM around 10.30am the Midlands section of the Vintage Motorcycle Club were assembling ready for a 70 mile run so we were able to see and hear lots of tasty machinery, which was an added bonus.

UKBEG NMM meets for specific Buell models, the tally so far:

14-04-13, XB12X/XT Ulysses = 11
12-05-13, 1125R/CR = 6
15-06-14, XB9R/XB12R Firebolt = 9
27-07-14, S1/S1WL Lightning = 8
26-07-15, X1 Lightning = 3
13-09-15, Blast = 1

Next year we're organising NMM meets for the XB9S/XB12S Lightnings and M2 Cyclones, dates TBA.

Jill, the star of today's show :4roz: …..

Thanks to everyone who turned up. I really appreciate it. It was a shame no-one else was able to bring their Blast though. Would have been good to see a few more.

Thanks for the photo CJ. I have nicked it for FB, hope you don't mind. :4roz: Was difficult to take one for myself. :yup:

Pushed the total of Buells to five just after you left, CJ when regular local boy, Dunno rolled up on his M2. He always has trouble getting out of bed lOl

Of course some Buellers who don't have Blasts took the opportunity to give their other vehicles an airing. DaveH on his Speed Triple (my art teacher told us never to mix green and red but it works rather nicely :yup: ), Albert666 on his KTM Superduke and me in my Transit. Getting to see a lot of the same faces at the moment, virtually everyone there today (all bar Richie and Dunno) were also at Jacks Hill last Sunday.

Great to see everyone 8-)

Steve

How true Steve. I did try and persuade him but fell on deaf ears, sadly. I would have been so excited if he had actually turned up. :4roz:

Some interesting bikes there, and would have liked to see Jill's Blast (star pic of the calender). Was also hoping to make this on my ole 'Double Blast' lOl ........but have to admit to being a bit useless this summer. Assembled bike, engine turns, but can't even get the throttle cables to slide shut like before (wouldn't get an MOT!) :coat:

I must admit. I thought there would have been a much better turn out considering the central location and the weather playing ball. Thanks for the coffee and a go of the blast Jill :yup: Thats no mean feat riding up from the south coast 8-)

Jill, no problem using the picture.

Sorry to have missed Nick (Dunno) and for not mentioning that Dave's stunning Triumph was also there, here's a picture to make up for it....
