I was thinking of heading over for the weekend...... would be good to meet up with some other buellers :)

Just have to figure how to get the tent onto the 1125R

I'll keep an eye on the thread :)

You should have no worries just for a weekend. This is our FJR when we toured Europe for 2 weeks (2 up). On the back is the tent, and the other bag had a double sleeping bag, double airbed, two pillows and two tripod stools. Panniers has clothes etc. and tank bag carried stove, cutlery, plates etc. and all other bits and pieces.

Can`t beat the "big" bikes for touring :)

The 1125R will need to be serviced, so i`ll be killing 2 birds with 1 stone :)
Might even get over early to sample some of the good UK roads :)

I quite fancy this now I'm single again but not sure where to put everything on the bike but I'm sure I could work something out.

Oxford sports panniers will fit as long as you don't want to carry a passenger at the same time............Buells own panniers have cut outs where the rear indicators are to allow you to mount them further back. Then strap your tent across the top of them ;)

Come on Kev you know I've got nobody to take on the back anymore no need to rub it in.

I was thinking the Oxford panniers would fit and I will try and get a set at the Scottish bike show.
As for a tent I think I've got one somewhere but will need to look for it.
What tickets is everybody getting?
I weas thinking about just getting general admission to save some dosh.

I think it depends on what deal CJ can get for UKBEGgers...That's when people will probably decide what's best......

CJ is the man... :yup: :worthy:

Trouble is he doesn't know his Lorenzo from his Rossi. Bit of a whizz with technical stuff though.

Yeah man :D

Last year the special weekend tickets cost less than a one day admission. I think they were £14 each for the weekend instead of £26 advance race day tickets. I think there was £20 on top for camping for the weekend. amazing value for money. Well worth camping and having a bit of fun... There was live music laid on too!
