Hey Mick, we pre-booked our tickets at £11 each... Sounds like we will need to upgrade though... :? Will persuade the other two to do that. Thanks for the heads up!!

See you again soon!! x

That would have involved effort on my part. ;)
It was dearer today anyway.

Not wrong Mick, it was a tad disappointing..... enjoyed a chat with the v enthusiastic geezer from the MV club with his v tasty 750S, and enjoyed meeting Fast Freddie - every bit the nice guy when he was busy winning championships. Somehow managed to miss Jill between Freddie & the Norton OC stand, a few yards away :? ... but nice to bump into Mirman & pal in the far more interesting Car Show. Loved the Bugattis, the Tatra air-cooled V8 was as cool as penguin piss, but the Alvis Firefly 25 Special was the star of the show for me. 8-)

Most interesting bike for me was the Wooler. Should have taken my camera.

Good to literally bump into the Digger's, good to see you both. The classic car show was a nice size (legs ached by end of long day) and some interesting vehicles adorned the displays, (did you also see the ladies in the nurses outfits :oooops: phew, I expected Bonzo to appear and say they were with him) the bike show was small, if I had paid and travelled far to see just that I would be a little miffed, did chat with Mick Grant, met Sir Stirling Moss and met and chatted with Mike Brewers from Wheeler Dealer show. He signed a mug to take back for the Mrs so she was happy.
A good long day plus we got free refreshments all day at the CSMA stall :yup:

The 6 door mk1 cortina was different, the Ghost busters estate was visually interesting as was the A team van but you cannot beat the old Fords. Some spotless and tweaked Mk1s. :sun:

Just got back from a great weekend with friends. Can't believe I managed to miss you Digger..!!! My phone isn't working properly, and I didn't hear my phone go off or vibrant, even though it was in my pocket.... :oooops:

I think we must have been at the show for just about an hour, having walked round it at least twice. Very disappointing. Decided not to waste anymore money on a top up ticket the Motor Show. We ended up going to the Coventry Transport Museum which was really great and FREE!!!

Soon as I'd chatted to Fast Fred I popped straight over to the Norton OC stand Jill, it was deserted, as was the 30 second stroll between the two!

Pleased you made something of the day, anyway.

Few pics on fb, but none of the Wooler, sorry Mick.
