Great day yesterday, nice to see everyone who made the journey. Thanks CJ & JJ for the usual great organisation.

Agree with Tigs 100% with everything she said to PH, does that make me ignorant too? I'm sure Em would be more respectful if it was your memorial day.

Fat Slag says "you sir are a moron". Em says "bollocks".

:oooops: :oooops:

Ahh well must say we are all still suitably deaf from yesterday. No amount of VTwins with chopped down stubby exhausts can match that plane bouncing off the rev limiter.
Not sure how your forum works with pics yet..but this says it all

Oh and heres Larigos

And a nice young man with an ice cream, who I've met several times over the years.

That XB was the quietest VTwin I've ever (not) heard... Great effort from yourself Dizzy; very impressed when I noticed you riding back from the photo-shoot... That's the example to set!!! :worthy:

Sorry to butt in on the bun fight, but if a main event is in an absolutely great place isn't it up to you to make the effort to turn up rather than move it to somewhere convenient just for you?

Listen I passed my driving test last week, drove a V6 2.5l Freeloader from Halifax to this event, and even had the cheek to ride down the airstrip on my brand new VRaptor seven months pregnant.
I ride all over this country for such events usually on my SVs on my own, doesn't make any difference where it is, last year saw me in Essex twice, Scotland. Devon and Wales for a biker funeral many hundreds of miles as a lone rider.

Make an effort dude....people might respect you more for it ;-)

Respect to you DB  Where there's a will, there's a way 8-)

Mrs Adam did the practical flight test to become a Paragliding Instructor when she was 5 months pregnant, and several months later used to leave me on top of mountains holding the baby while she flew off cross country, following students  lOl

Yeah know who is his, been to my house on a couple of occasions when bikes have been giving someone agro!

Adam....yer missus has one set of balls there  You couldn't chuck me off paragliding if you said there was a bike waiting when it was over!
Although when this one goes pop, the other half already knows hes going to have to hide :D every set of bike keys in the house :D

If thats the one on August 7th, unfortunately I am in Wales, but at the Annual SV weekend 6th-8th, at Baskerville Hall Hotel. It was organised by a dear friend who sadly passed over whilst riding
If I could be in two places at once.....thanks though. :D

Besides I'm not sure if Carnivore would like his ex and his new Mrs locking him under a bunch of crates when he eventually falls over lOl

Well……. What an absolutely stunning day. Started off less than perfectly when I overfilled Mrs S’s X1 with oil :yc: took a run up the road to meet Woody, Robin, Rick. Tigs & Digger, when we got to the RV, we had our very own BP moment……..fookin’ oil everywhere.

Anyhoo cleared off the worst of it, and drained some more off (as opposed to moron  ) when the Posse arrived. I initially thought that in the event of further trouble down the road we should remain at the back of the pack, but due to a further rush of poop to my brain :ill: Digger ended up behind the “slicken’ X1” and I was at the back. I felt really bad about that…… :ner:

Had a grand ride and got to EK without further mishap, thanks to all of the above peeps mentioned.

Had a great time at EK (those V12 Merlins are amazing(ly loud)), meeting lots of the old faces and plenty of new ones as well.

Nice to meet GM (Beastie looks ‘the dogs’), SOTV.., Norrie, and loads of others for the first time. Must have missed Norm….. how did that happen :?: Thanks :maz: for bringing a couple of Rocker box gaskets, in the hope of stemming the (other) flow of oil from the X1. I know you already know but I’ll say it again, your S1WL is absolutely stunningly gorgeous :worthy: .

Spook you are one jammy git…. :sad1:

Thanks to everyone else for making it the great day it was. Mrs S enjoyed it too, although apparently your all a bit weird… :hehe:

All this followed by a great ride back home through the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Special Thanks to CJ and Jane for another well organised event…… not forgetting Kev for his Traffic Warden duties…… although I definitely saw a Kwacker GPZ parked opposite our Buells… lOl

Fanbloodytastic....
