We're a bit late posting these pictures but free time is at a bit of a premium at the moment...
As mentioned previously, we were really lucky with the weather for the 3-day Scottish weekend - for once the settings on our weather machine worked correctly.
Gourock to Dunoon ferry and then a great ride up the west coast to Skye using minor roads wherever possible. It took a lot longer than using the main tourist routes but it was far more enjoyable...

Friday night, Kyle of Lochalsh, the Skye Bridge and Cuillins shortly before sunset. Is there a better place to stop and eat fish & chips?
We met up with Dave (burning chrome), Ed, Rawni (purps), Sumo and the rest of the gang at Uig Bay. The B&B and campsite were spot on and in an excellent location.
Saturday's tour - A855 around the north of Skye and down to Portree...
Dave met up with us on the A890 to Loch Carron and then rode with us to Applecross...

What a spooky coincidence. We came across these friends from Dutch Moto Guzzi dealers, Teo Lamers, in Fort William. Together with 19 other Guzzi riders they were on a tour of Scotland. We'd called into Teo Lamers, Nijmegen on our way back to Rotterdam on the last day of the 2011 UKBEG Buell Challenge and they couldn't believe that we'd met up again a little over a week later in Scotland.....
