Don, you got there about 3 hours after me and Jonny Foreigner. Had that been the attitude when Goodwood was Westhampnett the Spitfires would never have got off the ground. Must try harder or you'll be on a charge me lad!
Pascal was tucking into a ratburger at Loomies when you called, after a successful early morning raid coming low out of the mist and into the dazzling sun; a common tactic.
Good pickies of what was left tho :-) I'll dig a few out directly.

Here is a snap of that Viper V10 bike that turned up. Picture shows it leaving the car park to go into the track area. Initially marshalls turned it away and thought it was just an ordinary bike

Yep, a good morning out, :sun: nice to meet Steed & Mrs Peel, Deepsix, Pascal & Petra, and sorry to miss Mirman & Nutah.... but most of all, absolutely GUTTED to miss Mr Millyard's :worthy: latest miracle of monstrous machinery... at what time did that rumble in?

I saw it heading South as I was going North from Singleton toward Midhurst so not too long after I left I'd guess?
Have you ever taken Max to the Singleton open air museum Rik? Tis a good day out especially if they have an event on http://www.wealddown.co.uk/Events/Event-Description/

We weren't far behind you in leaving, but we went west towards Lavant.... :headbang:

And yep, it's a fascinating place, proper time-warp.
Just as local, but of more interest (to engineering types) is the Amberley Museum... the stuff they've got there is astonishing; it even has a claim to 007 fame because the 'airship in quarry' scene from 'A View to a Kill" was shot there :old:

I keep meaning to pop into there. It would make quite a good Southern 'meet' I reckon. Bury hill is just up the road too.
