Not the biggest turnout we've ever had at Hendon but a good day with great company :yup: Eight Buells, two Triumphs, one Ducati and thirteen people if we count Buelly who just happened to be there for a Mercedes Benz club meeting and wasn't aware that we would be there.

Not sure whether the mileage award went to Kevmean or Willy Buell but Kev definitely gets the award for quote of the day. "Is it possible to suffer from trench bollocks?" lOl Richie was witness to his steaming saddle when he arrived at Peterborough Services lOl

When we first arrived there was a great range of Buells....an S1, M2, XB12Scg, X1 and 1125R.

Was great to meet up with everyone and have a relaxed chat about everything and nothing. lOl

brill day out with good peps ,nice 230 mile round trip ,set me up nicly for irland in 5 weeks my second home ,dropped me oils as soon as got home so trans, engine and new filter all done for a couple o thousand miles ,not sure who was pointing a gun at richie though :rotfl: :rotfl:

As has been said by the others, a really good day out with some great people :clap:

It was really great to meet up again with people I know and some new ones too.
Sadly though, I was not on Harry, my trusted Enfield, as I'd left him at Paul's, our engineer
guru, the day before, who was busy making and fitting old style leg shields. Paul sent me a pic by the time I got home and they look fantastic!!!
I can post the pic if your interested?......or not. ;) lOl
I must thank Steve who, with my lack of transport, lent me our XL883R W/S loan bike, which was a really nice ride, in a Harley way of course. :coat: lOl
Only passed through a few showers on the way home, but other wise nice if not cool weather both ways.
Thanks to everyone for making it such a good time. :4roz:

Anyway, see you all at Newmarket soon.

Great to meet a few of you at Hendon yesterday even though I did not turn up on the Buell.

I have an old Mercedes SL and the Merc club had a meet on the same day at the same place so I had a great day looking at old cars and Buells.

Good to see you all and thanks for the nice welcome :yup:

12:30 pm before I noticed the car gone - it was there just before midday ...

... that's the problem of living across the road from a pub, if the car park is full then nowhere is sacred ...

... still, I managed to get some work done in the garden - unfortunate really, as I have no interest in gardening, but the wife appreciated it.
