Good to see everybody.
Rear footrest hangers back on, rear preload wound up and Wifey and I got ther about 1115.
We might have been without D6 this time around, but Mojo, Gypsy and Winchester Kev substituted for him.
Young Oanist arrived late and didn't even bring a note.

A shame we all split up after the tea, I really wanted to know if that was a Conti GT or a Crusader in the Enfield section. Mojo would've put me right.
(by the way, your rocker breathers are leaking, Mick ;) )

You'll all be pleased to hear that Pash managed to pull in the tea shop.
Nice catch, matey, despite her dodgy jewelry :P

Yeah nice to see everyone. Never meet Kev before or Mrs TTT. Nice to talk to Jill as well for the first time.

Bike of the show for me was the V twin Honda supermoto. Stripped Africa Twin maybe?

Pash and Kev were fighting for the lady with bling and I think there is a picture of them all together as well.

Nice to meet up with all you guys and gal. Thanks for chaperoning me Kev! Lovely to meet up with Jerry (Gypsy), Mojo, Pash, Onanist, Daywalker, TTT and Mrs TTT (Tracy - hope I've got it right! :oooops: ) It was a great day! We took a lovely scenic route down to Moorespeed (Tubbs) to have some Pazzo levers fitted. The new clutch lever really makes a difference. Much easier for clutch control....

Here are a couple of photos I took...

I had a real good day.
There was a terrific array of kit as usual.
The day was capped off nicely with a gig in front of Bowood House.
The Rotary Club do a grand job organising the day.

Good to see, all be it some only briefly, a good gaggle of Beg'ers too.

8-)

Now then, lets tell the whole story...

We (UKBEG) were walking down the street when we bumped into the Mayoress, Kev and I got talking to her, she said she had a day job too and that she didn't get paid to be Mayoress, she said she even had to pay for her teas and coffees, at which point Kev offered to buy her a tea or coffee, she was well made up so took us to her favourite tea/coffee place where we shared a table with her for about half an hour as Gypsy and Kev wooed her. In their defence, I think she thought they were both handsome Sons-of-Be'atches and did not want to leave them.

My favourite bike there was my S1, but I did also like an R90S identical to one my dad used to have plus a Quasar which were designed and made in Bristol before production was moved to Calne...

The trade stands were a bit Grange Hill, me and Daywalker lost Onanist, got caught up in a street full of chavs, before punishing our Buells all the way back to Bristol where we drank coffee in Riders whilst I read a copy of Easyrider hidden inside a Screaming Eagle catalogue...

It was a Continental GT on the Enfield stand. :yup:
I even checked the plate, in case it was my old one, but it wasn't.
My rocker breathers have been leaking for ages. I'm just a lazy old Mojo. :oooops:
Was good to see everyone, my favourite bike was the scruffy Bultaco scrambler that had road forks and tyres fitted to turn it into a sprinter. 8-)
There was a lovely Matchless G45 there as well. Fuck knows how much that's worth these days, but it's good to see them ridden still and not pampered.
Sorry we all got split up, but it was inevitable I guess.
I didn't realise Gypsy was chatting up the Mayoress. I thought it was some old bird wearing bling to promote the latest A-Team film. lOl lOl lOl

My wife's uncle's engineering firm (Wilsons) were involved in the Quasar bike and it almost bankrupted them. Can't think why bizarre feet first riding position, the styling, reliant 850 engine what could go wrong?
Was funy though watching the BMW C1 moving out of the feet first stand (thought she was going to drop it) then the Quasar trying to traverse a 2 inch kerb. The Reliant engine was trying to pull the skin off of a very tough rice pudding there. I think it took 4 goes?

I watched the Quasar go by while I was waiting for the Bowood ride in.
There was a large sod of turf stuck on the front bodywork behind the front wheel, so it certainly had some real bother manoeurvering yesterday, mired when made, still mired now... lOl
