Yeah got home about an hour ago.
Was dry until after Manchester when had a couple of heavy showers but they only lasted for about 2 mins.
Stopped at a service station to put warmer clothes on further North and then just after Carlisle had some more rain and it was on and off bewtween there and Edinburgh although the roads were dry for my favourite stretch of A7.
Had a really good weekend and it was well worth the 850 Miles.
Got 2250 Miles on my bike now and starting to get used to it.
Massive thanks to Nick(Pash) for putting me up and his misses for putting up with us talking about bikes all weekend.
Nick proved that the English can't handle there drink which I already knew but he did take me to some very nice places in Bristol and I must say it's a really nice place.
Really enjoyed seeing all the Italian cars and bikes on Saturday then coffee by the water and then a run on the bikes to Riders.
Had a short stop on the way back to Nick's house as his belt broke on his S1.
Still it wasn't to bad as there was some lovely ladies to spot on there way to a good night out at the pub.
Visited an intresting pub on Saturday night and a very nice sausage restaurant.
Had a good run to the meet today and a spot of Lunch before heading up the road.
Only took 6 hours to get home which wasn't bad and the bike didn't miss a beat all weekend.
Chris if you had stayed you and Jane would have got back up the road dry as it only rained North of you.
It was good to see some fimilar faces and good to meet some new ones even though I wont remember your name next time.
Looking forward to Glencoe now.
