I SO wish I had stayed awake and felt up to riding tonight. Sounds like I missed a good night. If the next night is on 8th July, I will miss that one too, as that is the day we fly out to the US for a biking holiday of a lifetime. Riding through the south eastern states of the US for 2 and a bit weeks.... Can't wait!!!!!

Let me know when the next Dockate 20 bike night after the 8th July is. If the Portsmouth bike night is on 1st July, I will try and be at that one!!!

Jill :D

Thanks for the hospitality Jules, it's nice to be back home.
Always good to meet up with the Southern Posse for a bit of banter and a few laughs.
It stayed dry for me all the way home and the bike is running better than ever. :D
I was grinning like a cheshire cat coming back across the forest at three figures in the twilight and it re-affirmed to me, the old adage when I think about Buell ownership and Buell people, that if I have to explain, you wouldn't understand. 8-)
See ya next month. 8-)

speaking of Buell ownership... mine went home in a recovery truck. Funny that. My 'miss's' seems to know VERY well when she wants to ride and when she just wants to hitch a ride in a van...

The whole exhaust fell off in the worse ever exhaust dis-integration I have witness on a Buell. >BOTH< exhaust hangers broke within miles of each other and then the rear exhaust mountings on the cylinder came lose. Lucky I didn't snap any studs!!

So. Back to the drawing board and I finally think I should shell out to buy the upgraded front exhaust hanger. Its about time...

Apart from the mechanical hickups I was very pleased to see you guys. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Good to see you all!

Not sure the Buell will be ready for the Peak District run though. I think it'll be the Aprilia......

Good to see you all last night.

I too had a great ride home through the Forest, different road to Mick. :D

Found myself following a memeber of the HAMC most of the way.
