I had a good day, thanks all,
It was great to see C and J, seems like an absolute age since last time.
Didn't join you all at Mrs Peels barbie, as had to get back so I had another quick cuppa then headed off home.
Did a bit of recruiting just as we suited up, a bloke on a nice looking lightning long.
Had a great blat back, with Mr and Mrs T, along the delightful, but a tad dodgey in places, 3081. Lots of rain washed gravel about.

Was mine the only bolt there ?

:sun: :sun: :sun:

Back home after a nice run with no rain, unlike the trip up. Good to meet some old, and some new faces. had a stroll round the museum after the hungry hounds left. worth a visit with some great bikes there. Great to meet Chris and Jane after too long a time. see you both somewhere at a meet next year i hope.

usual photos and videos with the usual suspects

Wonderful to have so many bikes parked on the drive today - thanks guys for coming back and enjoying the airshow with us. The Lancaster coming by at low alt for a fly-by was the the highlight of the day!

So nice to be able to share our home with you all xXx

A great day thank you CJ & Jane. Great to meet everyone again. :yup:

My first indication that I was getting near to Sammy’s came from 900ccs of charcoal black MV with shapely rider buzzing me on the main road before the turn off, closely followed by a Duke. Good to see you again Buell Abuser, and onanist first time in a while, where have you been? Then enjoyed breakfast roll also in the company of Helen & Mr T. :D

Sorry I didn’t see some of you for long before we were off. Nearly got left behind again. He who hesitates loses the Bueller’s. Thanks to the lovely Mrs P (and nice but not quite as lovely Steed lOl ) for their excellent hospitality feeding ‘the poor people’, and for arranging the BoB flypast!

One of the highlights for me was a perfectly formed mini tornado which rose from barbecue (smoking a cracked pipe again lOl). We stood transfixed for about 10 seconds as the solid grey spiral danced
around the hot plate. We thought it was a wonder of nature at first. but concluded that Andy had hit the special entertainment switch on his barby machine labelled ‘TWISTER’. lOl

Roll on Yeovilton. ;)

Great to catch up with everybody yesterday, big thanks to CJ and Jane. The temptation of a Barbecue lost out to a blast up the B3081 :D

Apologies for the delayed response - it hasn't taken us 2 days to get home :D....

We'd like to thank everyone who attended on Sunday - especially 'well hard' Kev from Louth, who rode 500+ miles there and back in one day :worthy:...

Although the Buell Day clashed with other events and the weather was less than perfect early on, we managed to put on a modestly impressive display with 16 Buell motorcycles. The Honda C90 Owners Club put on a not quite as impressive display but had some well travelled examples complete with assorted luggage 'systems'. Spen and Greasemonkey would have been beside themselves with excitement.

We covered 580 miles over the whole weekend and only had rain on Saturday for 20 miles, so we didn't do too bad. Jane's (Dec 06) Guzzi 750 clocked up 60,000 miles on Saturday - it's still running its original engine/chassis/shaft drive bearings if you're interested.

Honda C90 Owners Club - a great bunch of people who don't take themselves too seriously....

Typically late reply, great day out, good to see everyone again. Kev (Onanist), was good to catch up on the latest hill descent techniques on a Uly! Big thanks to V and Andy for the bbq, lovely place you have there.
Good run back with Don and Miss Rebel too.

Knowing the Harley lumped Buells suffer from asthma, I decided not to give my CR the biggun off those lights and leave you standing Don ;)
