Don't worry about breakfast, Jill. How do you like your eggs? lOl

The Clocktower Cafe at the end of Newmarket High Street is open from 0700. It's just opposite the Premier Inn so suggest the campers meet the Premier Club there prior to riding down to the Travelodge to meet CJ and his fellow travellers. I'll post some revised timings tomorrow for any who want to meet up on Sunday at one point or another.

Steve

Right then, for those who get obsessed with times and places here's a schedule for Sunday's activities. Timings are naturally subject to the normal Buell Enthusiast provisos - who did what to who, how much alcohol was involved, Dilligaf etc lOl

0915 Leave campsite at The Cherry Tree, Soham CB7 5AH
0930 Breakfast at Clocktower Cafe, Newmarket CB8 8LX
1000 Leave Newmarket
1020 Arrive Travelodge, Fourwentways, Cambridge CB21 6AP
1030 Leave Travelodge
1130 onwards. Arrive at Ace Cafe

There you go :yup: Anyone who wants to know where they can get fed, where they can meet up with everyone else or when their Mum can expect them home should be catered for.

Ursus Americanus, Black Bear and UKBEG accept no responsibility for anything at any time. However (subject to the usual provisos lOl ) I will do my best to get everyone to meet up with CJ at the Travelodge at which point I will absolve myself of any involvement with anything and head off in another direction. 8-)

See you all on Saturday.

Steve

and if anyone at the travelodge wants to pop across the road the "world famous Comfort cafe" is there too. Not sure what the ambience and food is like at the travel lodge but cafe is good old transport cafe style with good food and welcome. Always used to use it on route to Norwich.

Is anyone interested in showing some Dutch Buellers around the countryside on Saturday-morning between Harwich and Newmarket?
We will arrive 6 am local time, and we want to take the bikes out for a spin before we hit the BBQ.

Please let us know!

Not sure if I can make this now :( as we have a French exchange student just arrived! Unless I can sneek out and be back early :hehe: But there are a couple of possible good routes from Harwich:

1. Wrabness road to Mistley is a good one then East Bergholt, Hadleigh, Sudbury, Long Melford, Clare, Keddington, Newmarket.

2. Mistley, Colchester, Halstead, Sible Hedingham, stop Finchingfield for coffee, B1057, B1054, A1017, B1061 via Keddington to Newmarket

or to make it longer you could go down from Colchester, Tolleshunt d'Arcy to Burnham then up thru Danbury, Boreham, Felstead, Dunmow then Finchingfield, Newmarket

just a thought :)

Sneak out and get back early, Dark Horse, you've been billed as a major attraction ;)

Ron, there are some great roads around Blackbear, if no Buellers want to take you I'm sure me and Myles will, as long as you don't mind following a GS and a Harley ;)
