Guys I'm sure I can find the way somehow, don't even mind leading if no-one has any objections to being led by a female

Right, that's sorted then
Meet at Black Bear at 0900 ready to depart at 0930. I'll lay on the doughnuts and coffee and I might even have some route plans printed out.
Really gutted not to be going myself and disappointed with the general lack of interest shown so far. I suppose the meeting holds less significance for a lot of the newer members but, for those who don't know, Emma was a feisty little individual who knew from an early age that she wouldn't make old bones so lived her life to the full. Her Mum bought her Hugo, a Harley-Davidson Hugger, for her 21st birthday but that wasn't enough so along came Barney the legendary M2. She rode it to events, she wound people up on here and eventually we lost her to Cystic Fibrosis. This is why we ride to East Kirkby every year
Sadly, on our ride to East Kirkby in 2008, we lost another of UKBEG's most enigmatic characters - Darren or Yoffi as he was more widely known. So East Kirkby has become a place for remembering two of our really great mates and people who had an enormous influence on UKBEG in the earlier days.
Get yourself up to East Kirkby tomorrow. It's a great day with lots to see and do and plenty of people to talk Buell to and learn a little more about the people that us old timers remember and talk so fondly of
Have a great day out everyone
Steve
