Well we had the first 30 miles in rain and drizzle but then as predicted the skys cleared and the Sun came out 8-) .... Huge thanks to Adam for picking up Ronnies parcel from Chester on the way over 8-) saved us about 90 miles. Great to see Eric had ridden down from Scotland to join us as well :worthy: some gorgeous looking bikes there and the new Emporium is a lot easier to find and also has daylight :o

I almost feel a cheat riding the 5 miles to Maz's place, that's why the S1 looks so clean. Big respect to Eric ( fatcrip ) for making the 200 mile each way trip on his spyder :worthy: Nice to see everyone that made the effort. That's what makes it a laugh, like Rik and tigs dog jumping out of the car havig a quick sniff about and then DUMPING right in front of Maz's front door. Christ it must have had a lot to eat. it looked like the elephant house at chester zoo :hehe: When Tigs picked it all up still steaming i thought here comes brekkie again. Hopefully everyone that made it will try and make to Adam's do in 5 weeks including me ( weather permitting ) :yup:

Incredably sorry that I could not make it :sad1: :oooops:
Had to rebuild gear shaft linkage (internal) as well as slipper clutch mech etc...etc on the blade.
Racing tommorow.......needs must.

IF only I can get the gear box / clutch back together in time for some decent shake down runs.
If I have no confidence in the bike I wont ride well.
But yes tonfannau is my alternative agenda, sorry Maz, :oooops:

Yes, great meeting thanks to all. I think I was missing some sleep, but sat on my XB I seem to be on autopilot.....shame I missed the M60 turn off again! Still there was a nice sausage burger waiting for me when I arrived. ;)

Good to see Maz has landed on his feet at last with a neat set up, nice workshop, with covered parking no less. There is still access to the river to discard errant XBs all be it via a 5 foot wall! lOl

It was nice to meet you Eric at last.....and I thought my ride was epic!

Hope to see you all again soon. ;)
