Update:

Following Edwin's discussions in East Troy we've now received a draft copy of the Em's Day 2014 poster and Erik Buell Racing have really done us proud :worthy: :worthy:....

There's still a few things to confirm for the event itself regarding EBR, but in the next week or so we will have the definitive high-resolution version which we can use for the press and on various Buell and Italian motorcycle web sites. We will also have A3 and A5 copies printed up for distribution to dealers and for use as flyers to place on bikes or hand to riders at meetings etc.

We aim to make Em's Day 2014 the best publicised yet and if the weather gods are on our side we should have record numbers of riders attending, which equates to more money for Em's Charity, the Papworth Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Unit.

I must admit I'm struggling to obtain a good package for the WSB Donington part of the weekend. I first contacted them on the 3rd December and whilst they've offered a 10% reduction on the price of a weekend ticket they've stipulated that a minimum of 30 tickets must be bought up front. I reckon around 20 tickets is probably more realistic.

Donington are still looking into the feasibility of a dedicated parking area, similar to the 'club zone' that Silverstone run, but they don't seem very keen on the idea. Needless to say I'm still working on both aspects of the WSB package and won't give up, just yet!

Thanks for all your efforts CJ. It is much appreciated. :yup:

I was wondering if EBR would be able or willing to put their weight behind the club zone idea??

Jill, I will ask the question when the EBR WSB team have confirmed their arrangements for the UK round of the series.

Unlike Silverstone, who are very proactive, Donington don't normally offer clubs any discount schemes or separate parking facilities for their major events. It took a lot of 'pestering' to get that 10%......but then I'm a proud Yorkshireman and can usually manage to obtain a discount :D ....

When we can go public with the poster I will send a copy to Donington and stress again that the Spring Bank Holiday weekend is going to be one of the biggest in recent years for Buell enthusiasts.
