DOH!!! Didn't make it on the bike - got all kitted up, checked the tyre pressures and oil, pushed the start button and the darn thing only fired on the rear cylinder so it's out with the oily rag to threaten it tonight. We went in the car instead but didn't see any folk that we knew.

Hiya folks, started reading this thread, but its almost the end of my lunchbreak so forgive me if this has already been posted....

There's a new (about 6 weeks old) meet on a Monday night at the Avon Causeway hotel. (nr. Bournemouth) I went last monday for the first time. Reckon about 50-60 bikes by 7:30. Quite a chilled event, lots of tassle tractors right to a couple of sportsbikes, rat bikes and L-platers. Apparently they sometimes have a band there too, (outside) and the food is good.

May see some of you there next week????

Not a bad place the causeway. But despite my CR having the high bars they seemed about 2 feet too low compared to most of the stuff there. Left about 8pm.

Just a word of caution to anyone using the A32.

The section between the B2150 crossroads (Hambledon/Brockbridge) and right to the other end of Droxford itself, has very recently been resurfaced, with shed-loads of loose chippings covering it!!!
It's like riding on a skating rink..definitely tests sphincter control!!!!

Not much warning about it either, though fortunately just at a 40mph stretch.
