I know I write this every year, but it never ceases to amaze us just how far people are willing to travel to attend Em's Day. Huge thanks to everyone, we never take it for granted and you help to make the event so special by your presence :worthy: :worthy:.... .

We processed 240 people on our gate and we reckon there were around 225 motorcycles in total.

The event raised £480 on the day for Em's Charity, the Papworth Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Unit, and we're going to round this up to £500. I'll contact Papworth during the coming week and see if they want a cheque or if we can do an on-line donation and claim Gift Aid which would increase the money raised by 25%.

I'd like to thank Jane :4roz: and Barney :4roz: for their help on the gate and Frankie, Kev and Ronnie for their help with the gazebo and banners etc.

Hello Again Chris!

On behalf of a few Italian bike owners, many, many thanks for inviting us to yet another superbly organised event - bikes and planes will always be a special combination and it works so well with the good Lincolnshire roads to enjoy as well.

Frank - you're welcome, the support of the Italian clubs helps to make the event such a success.

Arrived home last night around 7pm, did 773 miles door to door. What a fabulous weekend and I can only reiterate what everyone elss has already said.

Chris and Jane, apologies for missing you before I left but I wanted to make sure I got up for the early boat.

See some of you lot at D6, shortbread and some other goodies to sort out, Mandy should be well loaded.

No problem, we heard a Buell start up as we were walking around the village before breakfast and guessed you were making a run for the early crossing.

There's a nice feature about Saturday's event, including a picture of Emma's Buell, Barney, in the Silksheen Photography section of the LAHC web site here

A huge thank you to Chris & Jane, for a brilliant day at East Kirkby. I do not know what we would all do without them.

Great to see familiar faces, and meet with folk for the first time, Ash and family, Mojomick and Richie (you did warn us about Skegness……..but did we listen?) and WILYBUELL.

Tigs and Rik were always in great demand, so did not get to speak. As for the many others who were there, like Deepsix, Matron, and Crabbitbear sorry we missed you.

Got back last night after an aviationfest.

East Kirkby Saturday, RAF Scampton and the 617 bar at The Petwood Hotel on the Sunday. On Monday, RAF Woodhall Spa (disused), The 617 Memorial and Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby.

Whilst on the guided tour there, we were treated to the Dakota and two Sptifires having their engines tested :D
