Ok first off, can you add two to the meet and greet please CJ, also because I can still only ride short distances, I am going to WSB and Em's day in the car, me and Bea will be camping over the weekend, we arrive on fri about 6pm, anyone down south that is riding up and camping, we can take your kit with us, we can also pick up on route, that's A27, M3, A34, M40,M42......we can take a fair bit, we will also have a LARGE tent with awning and full kitchen, that we can use as a meeting area/grub wagon, so if you want your kit taken and returned home let me know..........

On Saturday 24th we've arranged an informal evening meet with the Team Hero EBR race team. Please assemble at the UKBEG parking area between 5.00 and 6.00pm. An official from Donington will meet us there at 6.00pm and escort us through security at Redgate before we make our way to the Paddock to meet the race team and EBR Europe personnel with the 1190's that they're bringing to Em's Day on Monday 26th.

No tickets or passes will be required for the evening meet with EBR. If you haven't already done so please let us know if you plan to attend. We need an accurate idea of the number of people because EBR may be able to lay on some drinks and nibbles for us.

Make sure you leave room for some nibbles and a sticky bun (or two) because Team Hero EBR have now confirmed that they'll lay on some hospitality for us :worthy: :worthy: .....

Just 3 more sleeps to go, we're almost there after 6 months of discussions and planning :ill:, it's going to be an effing awesome Buell weekend   ..... 

Great work CJ, I'll bring an empty stomach.

Not having been to a race meeting for a while.... :oooops: , is it necessary to bring a chani/lock or is the bike park area relatvely safe?.........I think I probably know the answer........

There shouldn't be any issues with security but I would advise bringing a lock for your own peace of mind.

Helmets and riding kit can be safely kept in our hire van or you can use the 'Riders For Health' helmet park bus which is usually located in the main motorcycle park at major events.

Jane and/or I will be manning the UKBEG parking area most of the time but there will be occasions when we're both away for short periods watching the track action that involves Team Hero EBR or for the Saturday evening meet with EBR in the Paddock.

And there will be another old face around. Craig Jones will be with us on Saturday. He is an official ambassador for EBR 8-) Just as well Digger is away on the continent at the moment lOl We'll be happy to see all those who can make it during the day on Saturday as well.

Travelodge update - seems they have an issue with rooms and are overbooked!

Just took a call from a nice lady asking if I would like to move to the Travelodge in Loughborough.
I explained that I would not, as i was there to meet up with other UKBEG'ers and since I had booked the room back in December would be more than a little upset if I had to.

She said she would do her best not to, but could not promise anything.

Not sure if anyone lease has taken a similar call?

Not had that call but you can have my Travelodge room for Friday night...

I am not going to make it there until Saturday, so it's up for grabs... For free...

Pash, thanks, but you may need it. The "nice lady" said the overbook situation is impacting all Friday & Saturday bookings.

That's odd..I rang them at 7:30 this evening (to discuss parking arrangements) and mentioned that we probably wouldn't be using our room on the Friday night... but it was not picked up on...
