Hi,I'm trying to find out more info on the 2011 Wooton Bassett run,i understand you have to register but cant find the registration page.Is anyone else planning to go ? I know its a bit early but if we've got to register then it will have to be done now coz numbers will be limited.

Rob - as far as I can make out registration hasn't opened yet for next years Afghan Heroes Wootton Bassett ride on Mothers Day, Sunday 3rd April.

I would advise checking that web page on a regular basis. Reading through the messages at the bottom of the page it looks as though registrations will appear soon(ish).

Together with other UKBEG members, Jane and I did this years ride and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. If possible, we will do the 2011 ride.

I spoke to the young lady earlier this year that originally started the whole thing with more success than she ever dreamt.
She went on to say that the `Charity helpers ` (so called) have taken it out of her hands & she has had to pull out. Be carefull where your `charity`money is really going.

Just registered myself plus one other bike in the 10 till 11 slot

For this years event we used a Travelodge and it worked a treat.

Probably a wise idea for you CJ,but we are just going to ride up on the sunday morning,only about 3 hours away.Do you know of anyone else from UK beg that are registered ?

Probably 9.30 Mev as fill up and food at services M4 on the way, just steady ride up last year we meet up with more from London on the services, will pot up when closer to the time, tis a good ride for a good reason.....
