105db is actually very loud Ash. My TRX and VTR track bikes are 102 and 105db respectively, and those are on open Termis 8-)

i will have to get the sound meter from work and test it on mine ... how far away is the standard test performed ..?

1 meter at 45deg from exit. Engine revs at 5k rpm for a twin of your capacity.

unusual for the camp to limit the sound as most dont bother. none of the camps iv been at have, also its not like its a quiet place as it operates helicopters out of there all week lol and i know there not 105db lol

Yeah I'm going to hang around with Toyboy and Nutah like we used to down the Cafe' I'm just going to deafen the ref. How's that?

Oh, I don't even know what that club is. What a fart around.

So you've got to join the club to participate. Sounds a bit like Virgin Media.

I don't think the sound limit will apply because they also say they're expecting special fast bikes and cars and they're noisy. Seems strange... what are they afraid of? Even though I say it, even Blackrag's at 120db wouldn't deafen them.
