Two for your diarys.

Mothers day Sunday April 3rd, Salisbury MAG 10th annual bike show at the cattle market.

Sunday April 17th, Eastleigh near Southampton, Cricketeers pub MAG Bike show.

Always a nice turn out of odd and strange machinery to these.

I keep meaning to go to the Cricketeers pub MAG Bike show but something always gets in the way ... I have stuck it in my diary this time!

Decided to give the Salisbury do another try this year, having given last year's a miss as it had all been getting a little bit samey, as of late.

The usual mix of the good, the bad and the downright ludicrous, posturing back-patchers and bearded ol' duffers.
One creation caught my eye, though....

A B40 motor, I believe. (Adam will verify this - hopefully)

Five Buells present - X1, S1, S2, XB12s and a Uly.

Its a B series engine but not a B40, the B40 was a unit engine and thats Pre-unit, without seeing it it looks like a B31 or a B33, 350 or 500, but they had a Iron barrel and that looks Alloy, ( or could be paint ) which would make it a early Gold star, Either a BB or a Zb engine depending on age.

Ade and I rode over there...must have got there about 2.00 - 2.30... a lot of people were leaving, and we only stayed half an hour ourselves. I didn't see anyone I knew.

As we were leaving, another Buell pulled up alongside me, said something or other, gave the thumbs up and rode off. Unfortunately I am not sure who they were and whether they are a UKBEG member or not. Had a distinctive helmet which had a skull jawline pattern on it. Anyone here??

Didn't see you there.

Best turnout I've seen at this event. (not talking about exhausts, here)
Saw someone come in on a more-or-less standard red X1, but didn't manage to see it parked up:
One remarkedly cleaner than usual white X1 with a pornographic points cover:
One or two XB's:
A really beautiful Indian.
Two incredibly shiny Black Strikes - one was Mev's which won a prize 8-)
Loads of blokes with patches, ladies with exposed cleavages (summer's here :D ) and beards longer than Toyboy's. (the men - not the laidies with exposed cleavages)

Red Stripe X1 was mine, parked up on the left as you "motored" in... good turn out of Buells and a winner in the process... well done!

Psycho.

I never had a chance to bring the bike in.
I was directed towards the overflow car park, but managed to squeeze in on the grass verge at the front.
That's where I was stood when said X1 turned up.

Were you hanging around with Thorkill when he looked at my XB Psycho? You commented on the XBS pipe I think.
