So, as threatened, I'm off to Mablethorpe on Sunday, leaving Willingham Woods at 10:30.

Att, Smarty, Woody & Sheepy have all expressed an interest, so if you're up for it, either meet up at the north end of the Humber Bridge at 9:30, Willingham Woods between 10 & 10:30, or for those of you from way down south (att!) we'll see you at the beach :)

Quick note here if you're intending to join us would be nice.

Robin? Have you been let out to play yet? lOl

Yup, all washed & put away here - from a damp, uninspiring 7C this morning things soon warmed up, unbroken sunshine at Mablethorpe and 14C as we left to ride home. Good to see everyone, shame on those who stayed home to watch WSB, we're catching up on that now. Photos later.

Pretty good for a self-timer shot, strollers heading in both directions on the promenade dutifully paused their respective constitutionals....

That must rate as the best self timer shot ever :) ..................but if you'd said something I could have pushed that old guy down the steps out of the way lOl

And just after everybody else left whilst watching the start of steve lomax's race ...i was stood with one of my mates and we both remarked on the power being put out by Steves old 250cc honda engine and how it did well to be held on full throttle for the full 4 laps ...................................oops that was the kiss of death as the conrod made an escape bid out through the crankcase :oooops:
