I don't know where you get your exchange rates from? But the euro hasn't been at 1.4 since November 2007. It's currently averaging 1.22. It was 1.2481 on Friday. |

If you wanted to sell Euros to the bank to get pounds, like what they spend in Wales, you would be paying a good 10% more than the 1.24 that you see on x-rates.com today. A world without markups and commissions would be great... |

Agreed  I was just pointing out that the exchange rate isn't 1.41, it's averaging 1.22. I wish it was 1.4. as I have an income from U.K.Comission is another thing. Anyway, the difference is a fiver. At least there's no postage to pay  Nice place welsh Wales, I hope the weather is kind
