UKBEG members may be interested in the 2nd Carole Nash Winter Classic Show which is being held at the Newark Showground, over the weekend of Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th January.

Event & location details: here

We went to this show last January and thought it was an excellent way to start the year. It wasn't as crowded as the Carole Nash Bristol and Stafford shows and there's a good selection of custom and classic machinery on display, in addition to a healthy mix of trade stalls, club stands, dealers and autojumble plots.

Perhaps it'll be an ideal opportunity for an informal meet? Any road up, we'll post nearer the time which day we're going.

I'm wobbling now. Can't afford to buy anything, so I'll only depress myself further. What to do?

Go anyway! I go to lots of autojumbles and come away empty handed, but also come away inspired. ;)

To confirm, we'll be at the show on Sunday, arriving between 11.00 and 12.00. If you can't find us our mobile number is 0792 626 5582.

John Siddons, who we met at Cabin Fever 2012, is exhibiting his 1955 Moto Guzzi Cardellino in the George Stephenson Hall as a private entry. Jane spotted the listing in the January issue of Motorcycle Monthly, their Newark show guide shows John's bike as number 29.
