Starts early and fills up quick. If you are a petrol head, you'll love it. You'll see everything from steam driven to electric. Bikes, cars, tractors and everything in between.

If you've never been, add it to your list of things to do this year. :yup:

Well it took me 24 hours to get to work yesterday so I guess I'll not make this year again.
Have a good Chrimbo and Boxing day meet, from snowy Canada. :yup:
Does the Romsey meet still happen?

Yup - we'll be there - Wickham not Romsey. I think Romsey still happens though.

Early is the best answer to that! It gets very crouded by 8-8:30 and difficult to get in even on a bike, forget it if you're in a car, just park as soon as you see parked cars on the approach roads, and walk! :old:
Please be aware that Hampshire Constabulary are running a stringent 'morning-after' campaign...I know of a few people who have been breathalized in a road block on their way to work recently with the immortal line, "Would you be prepared to take a breath-test, Sir? There is no obligation, but we shall arrest you if you don't comply"!
Boxing Day morning... doesn't bear thinking about.... be great for their 'quotas'...

Damp roads but clear skies first thing this morning, so I arrived dry but pretty cold. Met up with Steve (Mirman) and Jan (thanks for the coffee :4roz: ) as well as Kev, Marina and Mev. It seemed quiet early on, but the place soon filled up with all sorts of exotica as usual and when I left at about 10.30am, the cars were parking over half a mile away from the square. It was worth getting up early for, as the day turned to shit rapidly after I got home and put my bike away.
