hello buell friends,

after visiting buell meetings in several countries the past years,i thought it should be possible to organize a european buell meeting.

before i start organizing, i`d like to know your opinion on my idea.

my idea is to find a location which is central for a lot of the buell owners. there has been no decision made at the moment ,but it appears that the south of germany would be a accessible location for a lot of countries.

the schwarzwald area (germany) could be a option.
this area is very close to french and swiss borders and also provides some nice roads to have a nice tour.

preview on my idea:

-location:
south of germany.close to french and swiss borders because it is central for a lot of buell communities.this area also allows to have a nice ride in the area

-when:
weekend (saturday/sunday) at the end of august/begin september 2014

-entertainment:
i will try to keep it simple
saturday: buell meeting-bbq-music-party
sunday: breakfast-goodbye

this idea is still in progress!!
to my opinion it must be possible to get european buell owners together.

this will not be my meeting organized by me alone.this will be a meeting from EUROPEAN BUELL OWNERS .

i`m open for ideas and suggestions

it might be handy if one or two people volunteer to help .

please don`t bomb my profile with personal messages.just give your opinion over here.

this message will be spread on european buell forums.feel free to spread the word.

european buell owners should unite ( http://www.facebook.com/buellowners.europe )

I'm up for it :yup: Would expect that all the regular British Lauwe attendees would be up for it plus a few more.

Keep us posted 8-)

Long road a ahead 2014 :)

I thought about 2013, but most buell meetings already set their date.

We're interested in a 2014 European Buell meet based in Southern Germany. If you can manage to arrange dates and location before the end of this year it would help with forward planning.

hello buell friends,

although i haven`t post a lot about the meeting lately.i was still working on the organisation.

unfortunately i need to inform you that i can not go further with organizing the meeting for a while.

two weeks ago bad luck hit my girlfriend and me. a drunk driver drove with high speed against our trailer with buells on it and left us.police could catch him within the hour, because my girlfriend found his license plate on the highway.

the both of us still have neck and back problems but it could have been a lot worse.the police informed us that he must have hit us with over 160km/h.
since the accident happened in a other country than where we live,it can take a while before the insurance pays.

my car and both buells are wrecked. not sure if the buells can be saved

i just planned to go to the blackforest area,to search for a good location for the meeting. but now my first priority is to arrange all the insurance mess that drunk pig caused.

i really hope i can go further with the organisation of the meeting very soon.

Wow sorry to read this mate :( ...... i'd heard about this accident and seen the news link but hadn't realised that it was you and your girlfriend that were the victims :( ........ thankfully you both got off lighter than the vehicles did as they can always be replaced. Best wishes to both of you and hopefully they'll get the insurance sorted (and hang the bastard for leaving you both injured at the scene).
