Sooooo....
Is the Club stand at Brackley going to take place this year? I believe there was something being arranged between Albert666 and Cooter, although I could be wrong here.

I believe there was a request for me to ride up on my Blast for this event? Is it still happening? Do I need to make sure my Blast is at least able to get there even if it does need some work on it?? I can be there on it if required, although next year it will be fully restored to fully working glory.... Working well now, but desperately needs some tlc to make it look pretty...!!!

We are planning to be there whatever, but I need to know which bike to arrive on.. Let me know...OK??

Albert666, I believe you said that you and Shelly are back from Florida for this event. We have some Buell banners and also a gazebo if needed. (let me know!) I can ride up on my Blast. I know you have your 1125 and Shelly has an XB12. Thunderer lives near Banbury and said he was going to try and make it to Brackley this year and I believe he rides an X1 (I'm sure he will be along soon to correct me if I am wrong... :oooops: )

How many others are likely to come along with various other Buells for the Club Stand?

I think the hope was that we would have one of every type of Buell on the stand....Not sure if Steve Loxton will be up for Brackley but if he doesn't want to ride up, he may be able to bring his S1 White Lightning and his ?S2 Thunderbolt in his van... (just an idea, Steve)

If anyone has any posters or photos we can put on display as well, that would be very useful.

Richie, did you say you may be able to make the Brackley show this year?

Anyone else up for a great day out amongst like-minded bikers in a lovely country town? Every year this event gets bigger and better, honest!! Well worth a visit. :yup: :sun:

I'll be there if I feel up to it 8-) If I can ride I'll be on the 1125CR but S2T in the van is another option ;) It's good for viewing but wouldn't want people seeing the bubbled paint and cracked cylinder head on the S1W. Always have a few Buells there from the Northants V-Twin crew and I have seen Alison's S1W there before now as well.

Had hoped to bring the Black Bear marquee with me but it's out this weekend and I'll be away all next week. Your gazebo and banners sounds like a great idea, Jill :4roz:

Sound system and PA on the High Street will be from forum member Bernie :yup:

Hi all,

Yes I will be going to Brackley, happy to show bike X1, it's a Whitelightning (Jill) and happy to help with stand !!
Have just purchased a nice M2, it's black with S1 body looks ("like its doing 100mph on its stand") dyno'd with 92 bhp with crap euro gearing. May be able to get that over too !! Let me know :D

Plan to be there, & hope fully on two wheels but currently have a knee injury so it will be on the KTM.
Steve, if you are doing the van thing you're more than welcome to take either or both of my S1's, I'll even blow the dust off them lOl

It looks like if we had any chance of booking a club stand, then we should have done it a week or so ago. Last years' cost was £50 but there was a late fee of an additional £25 if booked after 6th August 2012. I imagine the same will apply to this year....so that's that... :(

If anyone has already sorted this out, then great!!! I don't think this is happening now though.

We will still be there as it's a great event, just a shame UKBEG, as a club, won't be a known part of it.

Let me know if there are plans in place, and we will be there to support it in whatever way we can!!! :yup:

Jill, if it's not to late, club stands are free according to their website:

Quote:
Trade pitches are charged at £5/square metre whereas charity and motorcycle club stalls with are free including 5 tickets, all you need to do is pay an entry fee for each extra exhibitor. And remember, proceeds go to our chosen charities.

Cheers Sportster_mann :yup:

I had earlier clicked on their website, and onto their 'be an exhibitor' link, and received last year's ifnormation regarding cost etc.

I hope what you say work out well. I will let you know. :yup:

Just wish I could be there, but it seems that being a father is a full time job at the moment !
