To be held at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby, near Spilsby. Location/event details: here This will be our 7th visit to the fireworks spectacular at East Kirkby. Previous years have seen a good turnout from UKBEG members. Seeing (and hearing) four Merlin engines running at night with their exhausts spitting flames is something else and well worth the trip. The fireworks aren't bad either ![]() Event timetable: 12.00 noon Lancaster taxi-run 3.00 Lancaster taxi-run 4.00 Bomber Command Kit Talk 1 6.00 Hog Roast begins 6.00 Searchlight Demonstration 6.15 Bomber Command Kit Talk 2 7.00 Lancaster taxi-run 7.30 Searchlight Demonstration 8.00 Fireworks Admission prices: Adults & Seniors: £10.00 ( Hog Roast Extra) Children aged 10-15: £3.00 Under 10's free FYI We're staying at the Red Lion, Revesby on Saturday night and then on Sunday we're going to the sand racing in Mablethorpe - details of which can be found here.... |

Not exactly a two-wheel friendly forecast this weekend, in fact it might be pants for later this afternoon and evening, but a lot better (relatively speaking) for tomorrow, so it's a 'have waterproofs and heated grips will travel' scenario. Kev & Ronnie, see you tonight at the Aviation Centre and/or tomorrow in Mablethorpe ![]() |
