Decided to go for a long ride today, and I'm now sitting in a hotel in Dusseldorf! (From London). Bike held up really well averaging 80-90 all the way here. Had a quick break in Ypres and a few comfort stops but basically been in the saddle all day. No major issues, although I could cook a steak on the engine. Now let's see if it'll make it back again! |

Don't drink too much Altbier. Better to visit Cologne and get loads of Kölsch. |

So, for anyone that's never been to Dusseldorf all I can say is go. In Antwerp tonight. Met the owner of AMS Harley today who is a top bloke. He put me in touch with his mate Eric who is also a top bloke and owns a bar in the Grotemarkt and also a secure garage. Bike safely ticked up and now enjoying the hospitality of the Cafe De Kroeg. |

Antwerp is great. But for a nation famous for beer the majority if what I've tasted so far is pretty shit |
