Chatting to skri on Sunday... he mentioned Sammy Miller's and RAF Hendon...
Any interest in resurrecting these venues?

Together with Brooklands, these used to be very popular meets. If there’s enough interest it really needs someone from darn sarf to pick up the baton and reinstate these venues for annual UKBEG meets.

Jane and I stopped organising them because attendances had started to dwindle and, as much as we love riding motorcycles, we no longer considered it worth travelling down from Yorkshire on the Saturday and then back home on the Sunday evening.

Absolutely understand that Chris, and nobody has done/does more to organise our get-togethers than you and Jane. :worthy:
It was interesting to hear Ian (skri) as a relative newbie mention both Hendon and Miller's as possible future venues, incidentally having met-up the previous weekend at... Brooklands!
I'd certainly like to re-visit these places (and also Haynes) as it's been a while... IMHO some places don't actually hold enough attraction to be worth visiting every year anyway, but then again we don't actually go INTO these museums when we meet there!... :D
So, a flag-up to see if it's of interest to others... then Ian can go ahead and organise it!

Thanks Nick, I'll update the events diary in due course.

We're also working on events in the Netherlands and at Donington Park. Hopefully we'll have the dates confirmed in time for your calendar deadline.
