OK folks, it’s that time of year again! It’s only a few weeks until Sproutfest takes place for this year.

Date: Saturday 6th December 2014
Venue: The Golden Lion Hotel, Easenhall (near Rugby)

For those reading this who haven't a clue what I'm talking about, Sproutfest is our Christmas do held at The Golden Lion Hotel in Easenhall (near Rugby), where we pretend to be civilised human beings enjoying a pleasant Christmas meal together but in reality most people just get hideously drunk (you know who you are) & buy stuff they don't need in our Sproutfest auction, which is no bad thing as it raises vital funds for the running of this site.

There are currently 2 Double rooms available at the hotel if you want to join us & stay overnight or you are more than welcome to attend just for the meal (menu will be available shortly) If you are not staying at the hotel I will need the money for the meal upfront, so I can settle with the hotel before the night. Cost of the meal & menu to be confirmed but is is the usual Christmas type stuff with Veggie option & is usually around £22/head.

Please PM me if you'd like to join us, I'll allocate the available rooms on a first come, first served basis :-)

Currently I have two provisional takers for the spare rooms & one on the sandy list, but there is a ravel lodge just up the road if anyone still wants to join us :-D

How are all the arrangements going? Do you need me to bring the PA equipment or do The Golden Lion have a sound system in place that we can use? I think the background music worked ok last year but obviously if people would rather do without it then that would save the hassle of trying to arrange stuff. :yup: :sun:

Jill, the hotel only have a remote mike, so if you don't mind bringing the
PA system again, that would be great :D

I have a spare double/twin room for Sproutfest, if we have any last minute takers? Need to know urgently though as o have to confirm numbers & orders tomorrow :o lOl

Right, I am hoping to bring a small sound system with me...not sure whose music we used last year but am hoping to bring some soft party music to use, but anyone has anything better then we can use that.
