...are THIS Saturday, 5th September. A great day out.
Sadly, I can't see John Renwick's name in the Entry List this year... :sad1:

One of the oldest, if not the oldest, Motorsport events still running.

I'll be there if I can get away!

I read in the paper that Brighton Borough Council tried in the past to have it banned on the grounds of safety. Turned out it was the corroding cast iron work of the walkways that represented the danger to the public so they no longer had grounds to ban it. :old:
Tis no secret that Brighton Borough Council and their loony Green Party hate all vehicles unless it is a bicycle or rickshaw or any other vehicle made out of tofu, home grown yoghurt, quorn, brown rice, open toed sandles or cable knit jumpers. Rant over. Fingers crossed for a dry day.

:yt: Green Tossers living in a dream world (wish they'd piss off back to it lOl ).
It didn't run in 2013 due to a death in 2012, sidecar passenger IIRC. Huge public outcry, petition etc and it ran again in 2014. The middle promenade is still closed as it is deemed unsafe (it probably is if everyone leaned against the handrail all at the same time), but the lower and upper ones are open (well they were last year) and give great 'grandstand' viewing. Well worth the cost to wander through the paddock, everywhere else is FOC.
Long live Brighton & Hove MC!

It's good that the green party got into power there , it's shown everybody what a bunch of useless wankers they are and how out of touch with real life their tree hugging policies really are . If I was in charge of the country I'd force them to have a nuclear power station right on their doorstep as punishment lOl
