Any 1000+cc V-twin that's predominantly black with polished ally will be made very welcome... everyone else park round the back!

That was a good call Rik. I could not think of a better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than in the pub garden that brews my favourite tipple surrounded by at least a dozen Vincent's. Great to see Honey Bee, B, Rick and Max lend a bit of class to the occasion with 3 lovely Buells

Yep some of the Vins are not as tidy as others, but as you say they're all in regular use... despite the age of their owners (!), despite being worth silly money, and despite the factory shutting SIXTY years ago... (why oh why do we fret so?)
A lot of the owners that I know are engineers who have not only made parts for their own bikes, but do small runs and sell them to others, notably the guy who makes kits to fit a 2CV alternator. There's even a guy who can build a complete brand new Shadow engine... no original parts whatsoever.
