I have just noticed this today. I'll be going as I seem to miss most other events.
Skins Cafe, http://www.skinscafe.co.uk/ in Brackley is just South of Jacks Hill cafe. I'll pop in there for a nice coffee beforehand; they open at 1100hrs. Could meet up there and ride in??

Take your dry suit Tony. I've seen the forecast for sunday. Cats and dogs look like the order of the day
If they've got it badly wrong and the :sun: is out i'll be riding down the A5 for a brew

Tony,

Having comprehensively (but temporarilly) destroyed the M2, I was planning on spending Saturday resurecting the XB9 (just needs a charge, tyre pressures and a full oil and filter change, plus a general fettle).

If its raining even better - a full month of finally owning proper wet weather gear and the clouds have studiously avoided me ever since (am I the new "anti rain God"?).

TBH I never associated Jack's Hill with nice coffee - more a sort of warm brown liquid that kept you going til the next stop. Of course, its not the coffee that matters but the people, so I'd be happy to meet up.

Oh, of course Jill just has to turn up on her Blast - arriving at a "V twin" club's Buell day on a single would be an epic way to torque the system!

Dave

Very tempted to ride up. Just had my XB serviced etc by NVT and thrilled with the results. Need to have some time out so all being well hope to attend unless family intervene again..... :(

Dave, I'm in a similar situation re wet weather gear. I can't be arsed to go out in the rain just to test it but need one of those old Buell events where it always rains to see if they work properly :-)
Skins cafe do proper coffee and it's on the way. They sell top end riding gear too.
Jacks Hill is a dive but a good meeting place.

Rats!

Elder brother has just called me asking for help to move one of the garden sheds on Sunday.

I couldn't really say no (especaially as he's due to come down here soon to re-plumb three of the radiators for me), so it looks like I will have to miss this one.

I hope everyone except Tony has a dry day and that Tony gets to test his new waterproofs lOl lOl

Dave
