I know it's a year away but you can never be too organised ..... Staying 3 nights at The Boat Inn, Aboyne, in Royal Deeside. Arrive Friday 2nd, leaving Monday 5th September 2016. The Boat Inn web site: http://theboatinnaboyne.co.uk/about More details to follow in due course but the main thing, if you can plan so far ahead, is to book your accommodation. |

Sweet that's one for my diary , only 50 miles from me, will just go home each night so no need for accommodation. Cheers Neil |

Aye, not far from me either, a quick run over the Cairn 0' Mount. |

I have a suggested additional Scottish 'off the beaten track' West-Coast run, taking in the Cowal Peninsula and Trossachs. Made for Buell's! Having this in the July timeframe would be more likely to avoid a rainy September? Also, many nice and cheap places to stay... James. |

James, go for it, choose a hotel and location. We're free on these weekends in July: 9th/10th and 16th/17th. |

Please accept our apologies but I’m afraid we’re going to have to cancel our involvement with this weekend in Scotland. We have to rearrange our remaining days off work in 2016 with our respective employers and the 2nd to 5th September are no longer convenient for us. To the best of our knowledge no one else has booked accommodation at the Boat Inn. Of course, our not being able to attend doesn’t mean that others can’t go ahead with the proposed event. I’ll leave it one week for any feedback and then mark the event as cancelled if nobody wants to go ahead with it. |

Sorry to hear this CJ, I have time off booked so will be attending motorcycle convention in Alford anyway. If any one else is still planning going could perhaps still have informal meet |
