| Post subject: | Newark Winter Classic Motorcycle Show - 9th & 10th January |
Newark Winter Classic Motorcycle Show, Saturday & Sunday, 9th & 10th January. We’re not having a Buell/EBR stand at the show like we did this year but it still offers a good opportunity for UKBEG members to meet up for a coffee and a natter. If you’re planning to attend please indicate which day and we’ll see if we can arrange to meet up. James Whitham is the guest of honour and there’ll be the usual selection of club stands (but not ours  ) and trade stalls etc.Show web site: here |

We're planning to go to the Newark show on Sunday, arriving between 10.00 and 11.00am. If any UKBEG members would like to meet up for a coffee and a natter please let us know and we'll arrange a meeting point. |

Hope you have a good time  gutted that we'll miss this due to my work rota  , for any UKBeggers waivering about going this is a fantastic show and well worth a visit

No Buells at this year’s Newark Winter Classic Show unfortunately. We didn’t meet up with anyone from UKBEG but we did get to talk with a few friends from the Moto Guzzi and Italian Motorcycle Owners clubs. There wasn’t as many club stands as usual and we found the show a bit lacklustre. Perhaps we should have organised a Buell/EBR stand as we did last year, it created a lot of interest and was well received. We’ll see if we can manage a UKBEG stand in 2017. Still, it was worth going and the sun shone for a change. We found Jamie Whitham’s amusing anecdotes about his racing career and TV commentary work very entertaining. A few of the more interesting machines on display, including a CBX 6 with a tribute to LAHC’s Avro Lancaster:
