April 30th, Saturday.
UKBEG @ Lincolnshire Wolds Run.

Always a popular event with UKBEG members the Lincolnshire Wolds Classic Motorcycle Run takes place on Saturday 30th April. Jane and I have already registered for the event but you can just turn up on the day and pay on the gate.

Signing-on starts at 8.30am and the ride-out starts at approx. 10.30am. There’s an informal lunch stop at ‘The Green Man’ pub, Scamblesby, returning to Aviation Heritage Centre in time for the 3.00pm Lancaster taxi-run.

The event raises funds for a very worthwhile cause, the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance registered charity.

Bum :( .....Kev, this event never seems to fall on the right weekend for you.

On the other hand, if Ronnie wants to take advantage of our little used ‘UKBEG borrow a girlfriend for the day’ arrangement then my pillion seat will be free. I’ve registered my Guzzi 1100 for the event but don’t let that put her off.

A change of plans for this Bank Holiday weekend means we won’t be attending this year’s Wolds Run.

It’s the first one we’ve missed in years but because we’ve pre-registered our donation has already been made to the Air Ambulance charity.
