UKBEG 10th Fireworks Spectacular - Saturday 29th October

To be held at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby, near Spilsby.

This will be UKBEG's 10th visit to the fireworks spectacular at East Kirkby and previous events have proved very popular with UKBEG members.

Seeing (and hearing) four Merlin engines running at night with their exhausts spitting flames is something else and well worth the trip. The fireworks aren't bad either :P....

12.00 Lancaster taxi-run
2.30 Bomber Command lecture
3.00 Lancaster taxi-run
4.00 Bomber Command lecture
5.00 Hog Roast begins
5.15 Searchlight Demonstration
6.00 WW2 Kit Talk
7.00 Lancaster taxi-run
8.00 Fireworks!!

Admission prices:
Adults & Seniors- £10.00 (Hog roast £4.00 extra)
Child aged 10 to 15- £4.00
Under 10's free
Gold and Silver members FREE

We're staying at the Red Lion, Revesby on Saturday night.

We'll be at the Aviation Centre from around 7.00pm tomorrow night. With a decent forecast there'll be a bumper attendance, if you can't readily find us our contact number is 0792 6265582.

Nuts! We could have picked a better stall to stand in front of, but it's a decent picture under the circumstances :D....

It was good to meet up with Kev, Ronnie and the East Anglia crew again. The fireworks were even more spectacular this year and the Aviation Centre was packed. The dry, mild weather certainly helped boost attendance.
