Steve, thanks for the information. I've added it to the 2017 Events Diary:

July 8th & 9th, Saturday & Sunday.
Sixty Year Hailwood Commemoration, Castle Combe.
See this topic for details.

Thanks for posting that, i decided to chug down to Castle Coombe in the moggie :) on the Sunday.

It was great to see and hear some fantastic old bikes from the past. With screaming 2 stroke GP bikes to howling 4 strokes, Guy Martin got the chance to ride one of his all time favourites... the Honda RC 174 six cylinder 297cc. To say he was happy is an understatement!!

Can't say i saw too many Buells though :shut:

Glad the notice was of some use. We would have loved to attend this event but the distance would have meant another weekend away and we just couldn't fit it in.

I was fortunate enough to attend the IOM TT in 1978 when Mike Hailwood rode the Sports Motorcycles Ducati. It would have been great to see and hear this machine again. I've checked YouTube etc. for any videos of last weekends event but nothing's been posted yet, hopefully something will appear in due course.
