A great ride down and back 256 miles and my S1 that was pristine when rolled out of the garage this morning now has that many dead insects splattered on it it looks like someone has been sick on it. Came back up the A5 part of the way with Willy Buell and showed my natural homing instincts by getting the Drift warehousing roundabout system wrong AGAIN. Though to those who know me this won't do come as a surprise. Called in at Ashbourne for a coffee and to get a bit of blood flowing round my ar*e again. I forgot how comfortable that seat is over a long distance... Not.....Now sat in my favourite pub with a pint of cloudwater double IPA a citrusy little number of 9%. And the icing on the cake is I'm off work tomorrow so the S1 gets gets a wash and polish ready for next weekend. Hope the sunshine plays ball |
