It's that time of year again folks. Most of you know the drill by now, but for our newer members, here's the details. For those of you arriving on the 4th, Maz has kindly offered to bring his gas BBQ to cook on and has some burgers, sausages left over from his open day, but feel free to bring some food to top it up as breakfast on Sat and Sun will be needed as well. The Hog Roast will arrive approx. 4.30 pm on the 5th and Mrs Adam will provide the usual side dishes, however we ran out last year so please feel free to bring any side dishes you feel appropriate (along with your favourite tipple ;) ) If any one is arriving by bike and can't carry the quantity of booze they'll need, let me know in advance and I can get some for you locally (there is an offie in the village). There's plenty of room for camping and I've been chopping down trees for the bonfire, some extra bogs will be provided to ease the queues in the morning.
In addition to our usual gathering around Yoffi's Memorial tree to remember absent friends, this year we'll be scattering the ashes of friend Andy Summerscales, so he'll always be with us
This year, there may well be traffic diversions around the village, If you experience this, tell the people on the A483 that you need to access TREGARTHEN LANE in PANT and they'll escort you through. For those of you who've not been before, follow the A483 from Oswestry (signed to Welshpool) for 5 miles approx. until you reach the village of Pant. After the 30mph sign, you'll see a McColls shop on your right and 100yds further, on the right, you'll see Tregarthen Lane. Turn right here and follow the signs. The last 1/2 mile is on a dirt track, so don't be put off lOl
One thing I'd like to ask is if people could try and keep the garden and paddock gates closed, as this area is fairly dog proof. My dog Dylan has developed a bit of wonderlust, he doesn't go far, but he tends to go and visit his doggie mates on other premises lOl No doubt he'll get out at some stage, but if we could try and keep him in it saves a bit of worry lOl
I've probably forgotten to add loads of stuff, but if you need to know anything ask on here or if you get lost phone me on 01691 831238 :yup: :sun: Looking forward to seeing you all again :4roz:

Well done, Adam :yup: I'll be there as usual but a limited visit because of pressures of work! (Better make sure I'm retired before Deliverance 11 lOl ) I'll be coming straight from work on the Saturday and unlikely to arrive much before 2000.

See you all then :4roz:

Steve

Heather, Brodie and I will be there Friday afternoon. No trike, just the motorhome, so, hopefully, no epics this year! Won't need to sleep in Tamsin's bed either, I'll bring my own. Please be gentle with Heather, she's done Fowiefest and Em's day, but this is a whole new level of Hell for her to endure! Also, I'll bring my off road scooter, so no wheelchair required either! God, I'll be so much easier to cope with than my usual faff!

Me and the boys will be riding up on Friday. :sun:
Not sure what time yet, as Sam's KTM 125 tops out at 84mph. lOl lOl lOl
May need a lift down the shop to pick up supplies, as we'll only have rucksacks.

I'm sure Ragna could be utilised as a taxi :)
