UKBEG European EBR Motorcycle Day, NMM, Solihull, Sunday 15th July.

This special one-off event takes place on Sunday 15th July at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull.

Start time is 9.00am and it runs until late afternoon.

Entry to the event is free and all makes of motorcycle are welcome. There will be a dedicated parking area for all motorcycles attending the event. Within that area there will be a separate space reserved for the display of EBR’s.

There's no charge for parking or for entrance to the museums shop and restaurant. If you wish to visit the museums superb collection of British motorcycles it will cost £9.95 for adults, £7.95 for OAP's and £7.95 for children, 5 to 16 years.

It promises to be a memorable day and the largest ever European gathering of these unique American-made motorcycles.

We're now taking orders for EBR Day T-shirts. Please place your order by replying on this topic or by email to buellchallenge@gmail.com

Your order will ensure that there's a T-shirt in your size waiting for you at the event. Only a limited number will be available for open sale on the day. We don't require money upfront, pay when you collect at the event. They're £20 each, black only, with logos front and back. All profit from the shirts will go to Emma's Charity.

Thanks, Kev. Our friends, Karen and Shabs will be handling T-shirt sales at the event. They really enjoyed being part of Em's Day 2017 and are keen to be involved with this years major events.

Good to see a bit more action on the forum recently but no action on this topic. Although CJ and Jane have pulled all other events they announced that they would still run Em's Day which was a great success and EBR Day at the National Motorcycle Museum this Sunday 15 July. There are updates on their website http://www.ukbuellgroup.co.uk/ and our special guests have put some major efforts in to attend. My friends Jens and Birgit Kreuper from NCCR in Sweden are on the ferry as we speak. Jens is a fascinating guy who has been behind most big Buell achievements throughout Europe over the past twenty years. He ran the Lucifer's Hammer race bike, founded Buellparts.de, built various notable custom Buells including Hellbender as Hillbilly Customs. Had racing success with the 1125R and 1190RR in Europe with teams including Pegasus Raceteam. He was the first EBR dealer in Sweden and is now effectively EBR Europe Service and Parts Support. He is always developing new products for both Buell and EBR and you really need to meet him John Dimbylow of Splitlath Racing will also be there with one of his race EBR 1190RSs. He was so impressed by the support which Erik Buell gave him that he set out to repay him by the spade load. He campaigned a two man team of Mark Miller and Brandon Cretu at the Isle of Man TT for at least two years. Ran AMA racer and EBR employee, Cory West in rounds of National Superstock and Chinese Pan Delta Superbike and put US babe and awesome racer Shelina Moreda on the podium in Pan Delta Superbike. He's a really inspiring guy and also deserves your support. Lastly our very own Albert666 will be sharing a stand with CJ and Jane. We all know his work on exhausts for Buells but he has now become the go to pipe bender for EBR on both sides of the Atlantic. He is also the most prolific EBR owner in Europe. It would be great to see as many EBRs as possible but enthusiasts on Buells or any other make of motorcycle are equally welcome. I'll be there and I hope to see a good number of you guys there. Good turnout of Buell and EBR’s helped by the central location (the midlands) and nice weather, we even had some interest from a few Hayabusa owners whom were also having a large gathering

A great meet. Some really interesting stuff there. It's good to meet some new faces; I hope you were made to feel welcome. The interest in Buells and EBR seems to be still out there with people seeming to want to get one despite the increasing scarcity of gooduns for sale. Thanks to Chris, Jane and their sales team , Alan and Shelly for their display of art works and Jens and Birgit for bringing their interesting stuff over from Sweden. Nice to meet the Belgian chap on his 1190RX touring Britain, sorry I forget your name. Brave touring on that Kev turned up a bit late to organise all the parking but all the EBRs gave a good turn out. Thanks to all involved.
