Hi folks, Met up with Osteveo at Leicester Forest Services on the M1. Jesus it was F****N' perishing cold & I was stupid enough to think jeans were a good idea. Steve was far more appropriately clad. Took a great trip along the A47 & onto the M42 for the last bit taking in one of the roundabouts twice round ha ha. It was great riding with another Buell rider and getting to know him a little, very nice guy, thanks for the trip Steve. Got a pic of Steve getting hot exhaust fumes blown up his ass from a massive 5 litre V twin that you probably all know, strangely he's grinning like a Cheshire cat. Also got a pic of yours truly shaking the hand of one of my all time heroes of TT Mr McGuiness, what a great bloke he was. He's riding for Norton 2019. The V 4 Nortons were sparked up in the main hall during the chat between the five celebrities. Both the TT bike from this year that McGuiness rode to victory in the Classic and also the new street V 4ss which comes with standard exhausts but with a box with a moto Gp can in. Both of these sounded literally crackling and ear splitting but will be a force no doubt in next years TT. The chrome was the only overkill on otherwise stunning bikes. Had a good look round the Museum, both Steve & myself remembering our youth from all the bikes on show, also reminded me of friends long lost to my past. As far as I know (which didn't really come as a surprise) we were the only two Buell's there & we actually got some attention from one of the Marshalls re the Buells. It was a great day out. Steve got piss wet through on his way home, I didn't as I was heading North away from it ha ha. I'll post pics tomorrow. Thanks for a great forum folks.

Hi folks,
Pics, shame Steve's timing was off with the handshake but he made up for it with his grin.
