I sincerely hope that my previous post on this event was ignored
We arrived, got through scrutineering, when a meeting was called to inform us that the event was being cancelled.
Apparently the roadsweeping machine that went all around the circuit (presumably to clean up the sheep #hit) more than once, had a hydraulic leak.
Despite the best efforts of the local fire brigade, the surface was left in a treacherous condition.
As it also started to rain, it was the right call, and I sincerely hope that the organising club can cope with the financial burden.
