......and then there were five!
Good destination for a local ride. Sit on the grass bank eating and drinking and watch machines drive in. Well organised, but not cheap. Cars pay a fiver, but get a free drink. Bikes get in free (l should think so as it’s only a pub, but you do get a free car show l suppose). Clean and well presented with good facilities (accessible loo for wheelchairs). Reasonable turn round on food (up to date buzzer system).
Good range of cars; Lambos, Ferrari’s, Porsche’s and a few souped up VWs. Posse of slammed vintage Merc saloons with uppy downy suspension. Ancient Skoda street sleeper with a bigger than stock twin cam something in the boot. Assorted other sporty cars old and new! Also one chap in a ‘Rage’!
30 or so nice bikes inc some well presented Harley’s and Triumphs.
Appeared to be generally sensible people at the meet, but let down slightly by the usual pseudos who repeatedly ride or drive by WFO. This may be why a BMW polite unit appeared in a turning just down the road.
Will definitely go again though.
