It's that time of year again and I for one am already feeling the need

A few days indoors with the family, over eating, watching crap on TV :headbang: Cabin Fever has set in

Time to escape to the National Motorcycle Museum at Solihull B92 0EJ. Get there by bike or car - whatever suits you - bullshit with like minded folk, eat in the very good cafe, have a look round the museum at old motorbikes - what's not to like?

This will be our 16th Cabin Fever Meet according to the UKBEG calendar and it's always a chilled enjoyable affair. Timing is always open ended but generally any time from 1000-1500.

Look forward to seeing a few of you there 8-)

Steve

Shame the other event hasn’t been promoted or I would have been up for it. As it is there are quite a few people committed to going to the NMM including Dunno who is always there, doesn’t use Facebook and just occasionally drops in here.

Real shame and don’t want to be in the situation of furthering a split but think the onus was on the “splitters” to make a change of location plain if that was what they wanted to do.

All seems a shame - hopefully folk will spend time on both sites. Traffic is light here and I can’t see a forum on the other site?

Loads of folk on FB as that seems a bit more chatty but no info ‘bank’ which is useful for those that spanner. Time marches on and things change... :sad1:

Heard from CJ yesterday and he says it certainly wasn't an an attempt to set up a rival event just that he and Jane fancied a change and posted it on their site on 14 December as there had been no post on UKBEG.

I have invited them to join us at the National Motorcycle Museum on their way home from Silverstone if it fits in with their timings.

Same as with any of our events we never know who to expect until they rock up but early indications are that the following will probably be there :- Albert666 and Shelly, Mojomick and Kim, Woody, Dunno, Willy Buell, Coco and possibly OF and Gill :D A few Facebook "likes" from others could indicate many things lOl Let's party

Now he has a licence and a car I hope we'll have another appearance from a regular poster on here as well 8-)
