Thanks for some response - I was beginning to think this Northumberland event wasn't one of our better ideas.

We have (or did have) quite a few members in the North East, that's the reason why this area was chosen.

We'll be there on Sunday as planned :yup:...

Sorry gonna have to cancel.

Someone tried to pinch my bike last night and have bent the bars trying to break the steering lock. Luckily they didnt and it looks like thats the only damage. Gonna take it to the shop when it opens to get it sorted asap.

Was looking forward to the ride out, weathers supposed to be nice on sunday too

Hi David - sorry to read about the attempted theft :(. I hope you can get your Buell fixed soon.

And yes, the weather forecast for Sunday is excellent :P...

Its only going to be about £40 for the new bars so its not as bad as what i was expecting. The ignition does sometimes feel a bit dodgy turning the bike on, dont know if something insides been damaged when they've been trying to break the lock. There hasnt been a screw driver or anything rammed into it. Ill see if i can get a new one on warranty a bit later :D

Hi Phil - hope you can make it.

After today's gale force winds we've got tomorrow's weather well and truly sorted, it couldn't be better :P...

For those who didn't make it you missed a great day and the weather couldn't have been better. :D

Thanks to everyone who attended today. The turnout was better than expected with 4 Buells and Jane's Guzzi 750.

We've had some terrific trips this year with our UKBEG 'Meet-n-Rides' and today was no exception.

Northumberland is wild and rugged (just like me :D) and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and visits to Holy Island, Bamburgh and Seahouses. This is a stunning area and the weather couldn't have been better. We covered 376 miles in total and I reckon it was one of the best days out this year.

On Holy Island...

Inflatable armbands fitted to Jane's Guzzi - just in case I misjudged the high tide :?...

A fitting end to the Northumberland tour - mission accomplished :P...
